Through a network of well-established entities, it delivers life-changing support in disability, mental health, aged care, housing, and care coordination.As the organisation enters an exciting new chapter of growth, it is reshaping its finance function to enhance performance, strengthen capability, and ultimately deliver greater social impact to more than 8,000 people across the country.The OpportunityReporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Group Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in leading the finance function across accounting, business partnering, treasury, and insurance.You will shape the financial integrity of the organisation, elevate reporting and analytics, and provide commercial insights that empower executive decision-making. Key responsibilities for this role will include: Lead and inspire a capable finance team, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Strengthen the partnership between finance and operations, delivering meaningful insights that drive performance and strategy.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to improve accuracy, agility, and alignment with organisational goals.Ensure financial compliance, integrity, and audit readiness across multiple entities.Champion automation, systems improvements, and data-driven decision-making.Optimise liquidity, cash flow, and insurance governance across the group.About YouIdeally, you are a forward-thinking finance leader who combines commercial acumen with genuine purpose. You’re comfortable in complexity, confident in leading high-performing teams, and motivated by making a difference.Key attributes and experience include:CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification.Proven leadership in financial control, reporting, and compliance.Experience within human or community services, health, or aged care sectors is highly advantageous.Demonstrated success in developing high-performing, commercially focused finance business partners.Proven track record preparing and presenting commercial recommendations to executive teams.Strong understanding of treasury, cash flow, and insurance management.Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, team development, and organisational change.On OfferIn addition to a competitive salary package, this role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful social impact while leading a group-wide finance transformation.
