Our client is a maritime technology company and currently, they are searching for Head, Commercial, who is a dynamic and results-driven Sales /Business Development professional to drive revenue and market expansion for company digital solutions to support the seafarers and crews for their health, welfare and finance considerations.SUMMARY OF JOB CONTENTSThis role will include sales channel management and partnerships for growth. This role is focused on advancing human sustainability across the Maritime sector and adjacent industries.The position will be based in Singapore.JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)SALES1. Sales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth across core wellness and telehealth offeringsOwn revenue targets, forecasting, and territory planningLead pricing, margin planning, and proposal strategyCollaborate with leadership to align sales performance with business goals2. Contracting & NegotiationLead commercial discussions from proposal through to contract closureNegotiate large-scale B2B deals, MSAs, and partnership agreementsEnsure favourable terms aligned with business risk and value delivery3. Hands-On Deal OwnershipLead high-value enterprise deals from outreach to closureEngage stakeholders in solution selling and needs discoveryBuild and maintain a portfolio of target accounts with active engagement plansServe as the face of company in key sales conversations, ensuring strong brand positioningEnsure to support pipeline velocity and close critical revenue gapsACCOUNT MANAGEMENT1. Client Retention & ExpansionManage key client relationships post-sale to ensure retention and growthBuild strong connections with decision-makers and stakeholdersLead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to showcase value and identify upsell opportunitiesProactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across wellness, telehealth, and safety offeringsEnsure commercial value is consistently communicated and realized by the clientTrack renewal timelines and contract risks2. Customer Success AlignmentPartner closely with customer success, clinical, and delivery teams to ensure clients receive promised outcomesResolve escalations swiftly, maintaining a high bar for responsiveness and accountabilityUse client feedback and usage trends to drive improvements in product, delivery, or supportMonitor client health metrics (usage, satisfaction, NPS) to predict risks and guide expansion planningEnsure service SLAs, reporting commitments, and onboarding plans are met across all accounts3. Executive Relationship ManagementBuild long-term partnerships based on trust, strategic alignment, and business impactSupport strategic renewal and expansion discussions with customized proposals and growth roadmapsRepresent the voice of the client internally to influence product direction and service designBUSINESS DEVELOPMENT1. New Client AcquisitionIdentify and convert high-value B2B opportunities in maritime,industrial, and remote workforce sectorsLead outbound prospecting, referral development, and inbound conversionTailor pitches and outreach for enterprise and strategic accounts2. Channel & Partner DevelopmentBuild and manage strategic sales partnerships and channel programsDevelop joint GTM strategies with partners across regions or verticalsTrack partner performance and expand reach through co-branded initiatives3. Industry & Market EngagementRepresent company at industry events, trade shows, and client showcasesLead product presentations and positioning efforts to enhance brand visibilityEstablish thought leadership and presence in wellness and telehealth sectorsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Safety, or a related field; MBA or COC (Certificate of Competency)/Seafarer qualification is a plusStrong understanding of technology-driven solutions and ability to articulate technical value to clients across sectors telehealth, wellness, safety tech, and fintechExcellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skillsHighly organized with strong pipeline management and follow-up capabilitiesComfortable working across time zones and in a fast-paced, evolving environment Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles, preferably in Maritime, Oil & Gas, Industrial Tech, or Safety, Wellness, Fintech, or Telehealth sectorsProven track record in new client acquisition, account management, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targetsExperience engaging senior stakeholders and building long-term relationshipsStrong analytical and data-driven decision-making to support sales performance
