With 1800+ employees in more than 30 countries and over 75 years of experience, we are the trusted, global, long-term partner for the world’s leading OEMs.Job DescriptionPosition SummaryManage the logistic plant and branch office teams of Greater China to guarantee physical flow (including the components and finished goods flows, storage locations and external warehouses) efficiency & smoothly.Make sure that Quality, Cost, Delivery, Involvement and Safety standards are properly implemented.Is involved in any action aimed at improving theses standards.Lead logistic optimization project to achieve cost saving, lean logistic target.get.Essential FunctionsImplement logistics strategy to support the business plans.Take charge of all aspects of the logistics operation of the company including logistics planning, warehousing, distribution and transportation.Responsible for warehouse management and maintain a good housekeeping and stock accuracy. Ensure that all goods are stored in compliance with the relevant legislation.Monitor whole process of logistic; ensure products delivery to customers on time.Work closely with customer service team for sales forecast, customer orders and shipping schedule.In charge of SAP project, be the key user for SAP Logistic function.Initiate logistic related documents compliance with group regulation.Manage & lead implementation of logistics sourcing process, tools to driving improvement, leverage & continuous improvement.Responsible for logistics contract implementation, supplier performance review as well as involve in resolving day-to-day logistics operational issuesResponsible for driving distribution compliance; that all import and export are in compliance with company policy, standard & guidelines as well as local and international regulationsDrives continuous improvement in the buy and develop effective relationships with customers, suppliers, internal business units and other functionsPreparation of periodic reports/metrics for management reviewSupport other activities as assigned by managementKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesSolid knowledge in logistics management, import & export/customs knowledgeGood communication skill in English and MandarinFamiliar with SAPGood knowledge on logistics operation, Import/Export (IMDG / IATA) regulations preferred.Good knowledge on logistics system, process would be an added advantageExcellent negotiation, analytical and communication skillsExcellent inter-personal and written skillsGood team player and highly motivated with lot of initiativesLogisitics management experience in automotive companies preferredQualificationsEducation/ExperienceDegree/Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business or related disciplineMinimum 8 years of working experience logistics on multinational operational
