Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of the FMCG industry and the Laos market. Proven track record of successfully developing and executing channel marketing strategies. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in written and spoken Thai, English, and Laotian.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Head of Channel Marketing for MEK, you will play a crucial role in developing andimplementing effective channel marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, revenue growth, and market share in the fast-paced FMCG industry of Laos. You will lead a team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are positioned correctly in the market and reach the right audience through various distribution channels.Channel Strategy Development Develop and execute channel marketing strategies tailored to the Laos market. Identify and assess new channel opportunities and partnerships. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.Team Leadership Lead and mentor a team of channel marketing professionals, providing guidance and support. Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for the team.Channel Partner Relationships Establish and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, distributors, andretailers. Collaborate with supply chains to optimize product distribution and placement.Product Positioning Develop and implement product positioning strategies that resonate with the local consumer base. Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.Marketing Campaigns Plan and execute marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.Market Analysis Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, preferences, competitors, andtrends. Use data-driven insights to make informed marketing decisions.Budget Management Manage the channel marketing budget efficiently and effectively. Ensure cost-effectiveness in all marketing initiatives.Reporting Provide regular reports on channel marketing performance to senior management. Recommend improvements and optimizations based on data analysis.
