Our staff are not only passionate and dynamic but also innovative in their approach to teaching and learning.About The RoleAs Head of Department - Student Services, you will lead a dynamic team to deliver on the Strategies and Outcomes of the school's Strategic and Annual Implementation Plan. A large focus of the Strategic Plan is on the outcomes of belonging measured by Attendance, Behaviour Outcomes and Student School Opinion Survey Results. You will case manage a variety of year levels providing strategic decisions.Your ResponsibilitiesAs the Head of Special Education Services, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support provided by the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program.Lead and manage the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program to provide advice to classroom teachers for students with disability as needed.Provide high quality advice to the school leadership team, classroom teachers and other school staff to develop, plan and implement effective reasonable adjustments for students with disability.
