That’s why we offer hybrid working arrangements within Ireland, giving you the best of both worlds.What You'll Do:As our new Head of Finance, Australia, you will provide end-to-end financial leadership for the Australian market, owning budgeting, planning and forecasting, statutory close and reporting, tax and compliance, and supply chain finance partnership. Reporting into the global finance org and partnering closely with the Australia GM and leadership team, you’ll build a best-in-class local finance capability, enable data-driven decisions, and ensure robust controls while supporting growth, pricing, and innovation.Additional key responsibilities include:Set up and lead the Australia finance function, processes, and ways of working, integrating with Dublin and Vancouver finance teams. Own budgeting, planning, and forecasting for Australia; drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and management reporting. Act as key finance partner to the Australia GM across the full P&L (including value chain and pricing), delivering monthly/trimester performance reviews, insights, and risk/opportunity calls. Lead month-end close and management reporting with strong internal controls; ensure targets are met and underlying trends and implications are clearly explained. Manage statutory obligations: lead the annual external audit, support group audit requests, and ensure timely, accurate financial statements. Oversee payroll review/approval (outsourced provider), and own all tax and excise filings with the ATO, maintaining relationships with the ATO and local advisers. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for the Australia entity, including contract reviews (with local counsel) and product/reporting requirements (e.g., DRS). Partner cross-functionally on strategic initiatives (route-to-market, pricing, innovation), providing decision support and scenario analysis to drive growth. What You'll Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or related field. Professional accounting designation (e.g., CA/CPA/CIMA) required. 7+ years’ progressive experience in FP&A/forecasting and finance leadership, preferably within FMCG or premium beverages. Proven ownership of country-level budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close with strong internal control and audit management. Demonstrated expertise in tax and compliance in Australia (including excise), and experience partnering with regulators/advisers (e.g., ATO). Advanced financial modelling and performance reporting skills; strong systems literacy and proficiency with financial analysis tools.
