As part of this transformation journey, they are seeking a highly experienced Head of IT to shape and drive the organization’s overall technology and digital strategy.Role OverviewThe Head of IT will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s IT and digital transformation strategy. This senior leadership role ensures that technology systems, digital platforms, infrastructure, and cybersecurity frameworks support both current operational needs and future digital ambitions.The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with executive leadership to modernize legacy systems, introduce emerging technologies, and ensure that technology initiatives are fully aligned with the organization’s mission and national transformation objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive IT and digital transformation strategy aligned with organizational goals.Lead the modernization of legacy systems and implement scalable, future-ready digital solutions.Oversee all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, networks, systems, and cybersecurity.Drive the adoption of cloud technologies, automation tools, analytics, and emerging digital solutions to enhance efficiency and service delivery.Manage and mentor IT teams, ensuring operational excellence, innovation, and high-quality service across all sites and departments.Establish and enforce strong IT governance, digital standards, and cybersecurity policies to ensure reliability and compliance.Lead the implementation and optimization of enterprise systems (ERP, HRIS, business applications, etc.).Strengthen cybersecurity capabilities and ensure compliance with national cybersecurity standards.Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business needs into technology priorities and digital initiatives.Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology partnerships.Monitor IT performance metrics and drive continuous improvement across all technology functions.Ensure robust disaster recovery, business continuity, and data protection frameworks.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).10–15 years of progressive experience in IT, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a large or complex organization.Proven experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, systems architecture, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity.Demonstrated success in modernizing systems and deploying new digital technologies.Experience managing and developing medium to large IT teams.Strong vendor, budget, and project management capabilities.Knowledge of Saudi regulatory requirements, especially in cybersecurity and data protection.Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.Why JoinPlay a pivotal leadership role in shaping the digital future of a major semi-government entity.Drive modernization and innovation across a large, dynamic organization.Collaborative environment committed to excellence, technology advancement, and continuous improvement.Competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.
