Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionGeneral PartCreate an environment of strong team spirit, timely and effective communications, sense of Urgency, high motivation and inspire teams to achieve goals in the immediate and longer termProactively promote positive Safety Culture and cGMP operating principlesBe an active and visible change agent, promoting flexible and open mindsets to new opportunities and business changeEstablish strategic goals and objectives and maintain full strategic responsibility for the Maintenance and Calibration organizationAs a Manufacturing leadership team member, drive collaboration within site and across network activities, cross-functional planning, and decision makingEmbody PT LEAN leadership principles and methods while fostering a continuous improvementBusiness PartManage expense and capital budgets for the Maintenance and Calibrations operationsEnsure SHE and cGMP Compliance for all Maintenance and Calibration activities includes GMP Assets Design, Operation, Maintenance, Decommissioning and all relevant recordsProvide excellent Maintenance and Calibration services by establishing effective relationships with key customers and stakeholders to understand business needs and expectations. Ensures that services are delivered according to established service level agreementsManage and execute maintenance activities for production equipment and GMP facilities & Utilities.In addition, adhere to KPI’s that measure asset availability, effectiveness, and efficiency (e.g. OEE, Planned Equipment Down Time, Unplanned Equipment Down Time, Energy Saving etc.). To maximize equipment availability and optimize life cycle costsApprove GMP documents and documents related to production proceduresReview the application for access control permissions in the responsible area and conduct periodic reviewQualification And ExperienceBachelor’s Degree (science or engineering is preferred)Graduate or higher-level degree is preferred10 or more years’ work experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry5 or more years’ people management experience5 or more years’ plant maintenance, engineering, or related experience in the pharmaceutical industryJob Required CompetenciesExpert knowledge of Maintenance and Calibration standards, production equipment operation, and clean room technologyExpert knowledge of GMP HVAC, plant utility systems, building automation systems / building management systems, clean room technologyExperience with start-up, commissioning and qualification of utilities equipment, including requirements for documentation and testing preferredExpert knowledge of cGMP relevant to the pharmaceutical industryStrong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influenceAble to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plansTakes ownership, drives results, and achieves expected outcomesExceptional customer and stakeholder management skills Who we areA healthier future drives us to innovate.
