This is your opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of patients, driving innovation and strategic excellence in one of the most exciting roles in the industry given the innovative pipeline at GSK.Your role will be varied and will include:Shape the Future: Develop and execute GSK Australia’s medical pipeline strategy, sharing scientific expertise for pipeline assets.Lead Evidence Generation: Contribute to clinical and economic differentiation, providing scientific input on publications and activities.Build Strategic Networks: Collaborate with global/regional medical, R&D, and commercial teams, bridging local and global efforts.Engage Externally: Represent GSK Australia at major scientific events, interact with governments, payers, and external stakeholders.Drive Impact: Influence national guidelines, deliver on the unmet patient need , and ensure timely access for patients.About you?We’re seeking a visionary leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You are someone who can combine scientific expertise with strategic thinking to drive impactful outcomes. Your ability to influence, collaborate, and navigate complex challenges will be key to your success in this role.You’ll also bring:Education:Minimum BPharm or BSc is required to ensure a strong foundation in medical and scientific principles.MD or PhD is preferred for added credibility and depth of knowledge, particularly in specialty and oncology.Experience:At least 10 years of experience in Medical Affairs, with a proven track record in oncology and specialty areas.Broad therapeutic area expertise and practical experience working across multiple functions and geographies.Demonstrated ability to lead strategic and operational planning, influence without authority, and navigate complex data to deliver effective solutions.High level of ethics and integrity, with experience in risk management and governance.Skills & Attributes:Strong analytical skills and judgment to understand challenges, develop strategies, and communicate effectively.Enterprise mindset with the ability to prioritise, coach, and support others while fostering collaboration across multicultural teams.A business leader, with the ability to remain balanced in a fast paced environment calm and operate effectively in a matrix organization and multiple external stakeholders.Other Requirements:Experience in external healthcare professional (HCP) engagement and pharmaceutical R&D or Medical Affairs roles.Ability to build and maintain strategic networks with national scientific experts, leading societies, and external stakeholders.Why join us?At GSK, we challenge ourselves to get Ahead Together – to make a positive impact on global health; for growth; in an environment where people can thrive.
