Then come to our "Insanely Customer Centric" Team and become a Certified International Specialist!YOUR TASKSRole Purpose: Manage the Operations Group by planning and implementing strategies to ensure improvement in both service and transit time performance, whilst managing costs, and to provide the fastest, most reliable, and secure global door-to-door express transport service in the market with complete end-to-end real-time visibility of shipment status and progress throughout the network in the most cost-effective mannerEnsure the Safety First culture is promoted and lived daily, including reporting (LTIFR, VCIFR, near miss).Provide best-in-class express courier service to meet current and expanding business and operations.Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a team of senior managers to ensure the country achieves its business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.Support the business acquisition process and provide after-sales support to achieve revenue and profitability targets.Ensure Ops structure is fit for long-term growth by managing the Operations masterplan (facilities, vehicles, uplift, etc).Drive improvement of operational processes, facilities, and capabilities through standard operational practices and optimizing work methods to maximize productivity improvement. Ensure Operations teams remain within cost targets and seek means to manage costs while maintaining/improving service and productivity levels.Perform management tasks with due regard to budgetary targets, service/ productivity levels, and cost controls.Develop and implement the Annual Operating plans in tandem with the Regional strategies and guidelines.Oversee Security practices to ensure policies and business needs are metSupport the development of tailored solutions for large customersEnsure that DHL meets/improves upon its regulatory and environmental obligations while actively leading initiatives to remove trade impedimentsOversee Security practices to ensure policies and business needs are metDrive leadership and Employee Engagement activities for Operations in line with GPTW and EOS expectations.Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility, and cost consciousness.Identify training needs and career development opportunities to drive a high-performance team.Develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.YOUR PROFILEMore than 10 years of experience in managing and leading a sizeable team in the operations area.Education: Degree holderLanguage Requirements: English - Fluent (written and spoken)OUR OFFERMultifarious benefit programs.Strong career support & lots of opportunities in an international environment.Training: both online and offline with Global DHL Standards.Coaching & Feedback culture allows you to advance in short-term and long-term development goals.Working together based on DHL's values of “Respect and Results”.Diverse engagement activities under “Best Day Everyday” – our Health & Well-being program.Employee hobby clubs, sports championships.
