Job Description DetailsThe Head of Projects is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various projects within the organization. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesStrategic Project Management:Develop and implement strategic project management plans that align with the organization's objectives.Oversee the management of multiple, complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.Establish project management methodologies, standards, and best practices across the organization.Ensure effective resource allocation and utilization across all projects.Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring contingency plans are in place.Leadership And Team ManagementLead and mentor a team of project managers and project personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support the professional development of team members.Promote collaboration and effective communication within the project team and across departments.Stakeholder EngagementEngage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals with organizational strategy.Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any issues or concerns.Facilitate stakeholder meetings and presentations to report on project progress and outcomes.Quality Assurance And Continuous ImprovementImplement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management practices and outcomes.Financial ManagementDevelop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.Monitor project financial performance, reporting on budget status and variances.Ensure projects are delivered within approved budget constraints.Technical Documentation And ComplianceOversee the development and maintenance of technical documentation for IT systems, policies, and procedures.Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO standards for IT.Document quality assurance test plans and direct quality assurance testing.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.At least 10-15 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.Additional QualificationsExcellent analytical and organizational skills; attention to detail Excellent account management skills Proficient in professional communicationResiliency and proactivity Able to work a fast-paced, on-call, environmentAbility to respond quickly and effectively to changing business environment, requirements or shifts in technology and/or skills; convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently communicating complex technical problems to business clients.YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 10 years aboveSTATUS: PROBATIONARYHEADCOUNT: 1 FTE, FULL TIMELOCATION: MAKATI CITY
