This includes oversight over the Credit Analysts, Direct to Customer Lending, and Credit Operations teams.You will help drive the business towards achieving departmental and overall business goals. You will participate in departmental planning, resourcing, and decisioning, along with Transformation initiatives to improve employee and customer experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring team Managers are providing timely and accurate direction to staff, in line with La Trobe Financials’ proceduresActively providing coaching and mentorship; developing leaders to help them see and achieve their full potentialParticipating in initiatives that help drive staff engagement, retention and an employee-oriented company cultureParticipate in the onboarding, probationary reviews, and development of new staff. Ensuring new staff are on an upward trajectory to meet intended targetsOversight on departmental workflow to ensure SLA’s are met. Developing and implementing strategies if SLA’s targets are not adhered toManage and maintain controls and feedback systems to monitor the performance of officersMonitoring of underperforming staff and implementing adequate performance plans to result in targets being metMonitoring team resources and leave throughout the year to ensure customer service levels are maintainedParticipate in projects and initiatives that drive process and operational improvementsEnsure all Credit Assessment activity aligns with industry regulations and company policiesResponding to divisional complaints and responding to IDR complaintsAbout YouThe successful applicant will possess experience in retail or commercial lending within a management or supervisory position.
