We streamline asset operations by enabling teams to identify issues, understand impact, coordinate responses, and measure improvement - all within one unified platform.We’re building the intelligence and operational backbone that helps leading organisations run their assets with clarity, consistency, and confidence.The opportunityWe’re building out a high-calibre team across Australia and the US, and hiring velocity is set to increase. As our first dedicated Head of Talent, you will architect and run the end-to-end talent function: brand, sourcing, assessment, and candidate experience. You’ll partner closely with leadership across GTM, Product, Engineering, and Operations to hire exceptional people, fast, while raising the bar on quality and consistency.The roleYou will own the full recruiting lifecycle and the underlying system that powers it. From building our talent brand and sourcing hard-to-find candidates, to designing structured interviews and enabling hiring managers, you’ll be the connective tissue that keeps the engine running. You’ll report on funnel health, improve conversion at each stage, and ensure every candidate has a world-class experience. Day to day, you’ll be hands-on while also laying foundations for scale, including vendor strategy, tools, and lightweight process that helps teams move with speed and clarity.What you will doBuild and own a structured hiring engine across ANZ and the US from intake to offer owning end-to-end recruitment across ANZ and US, from intake through offerDesign and implement structured interview processes, scorecards, and bar-raising loops in partnership with hiring managersSource proactively for priority roles, develop diverse pipelines, and reduce time-to-slatesStand up a clean, consistent process using our existing playbooks and interview databasesLead compensation benchmarking in partnership with Finance and hiring managersEstablish and report hiring metrics: pipeline, conversion, time-to-fill, and qualityOwn candidate experience end to end, ensuring fast, respectful, and transparent commsManage agency and vendor relationships selectively for hard-to-fill or surge needsBuild early talent and community programs to support the Sydney hub and future US growthWhat you will bring6+ years in talent acquisition with 2+ years owning GTM and technical hiring in B2B SaaSDemonstrated success hiring in competitive markets and scaling from first principlesStrength in sourcing, assessment design, and hiring manager enablementData fluency with the ability to instrument funnels and drive decisions from metricsExcellent written and verbal communication, with a high bar for candidate experienceOwnership mindset, high urgency, and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving environmentBonus points for:Experience hiring across Australia and the US, including compensation and compliance nuancesEarly-stage or category-creating company experience where process and playbooks were built from scratchFamiliarity with HRIS/ATS tooling and lightweight analytics for reportingWhy join usThis is a high-impact role at the center of Asseti’s growth.
