Health Safety Environment Officer

Company Description Alameda Healthcare is a trusted healthcare provider established in 1999 and led by Dr. Fahad Salah Khater. Its network comprises four tertiary care hospitals in Cairo, with two currently under construction, and will have a total capacity of 890 beds once fully operational. Additionally, Alameda Healthcare operates facilities in Kuwait and London, as well as outpatient clinics, diagnostic centers, specialist centers, pharmacies, and a rehabilitation center. The organization is focused on delivering excellence in patient care and medical services. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt. As a Health Safety Environment Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. Your day-to-day tasks will involve implementing and monitoring workplace safety measures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring occupational health standards are maintained. You will also manage incident investigations, promote a culture of safety through training and awareness campaigns, and ensure alignment with international and local EHS protocols, including NEBOSH certifications. Qualifications Proficiency in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety protocolsKnowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards and practicesExperience in Occupational Health, focusing on preventing workplace injuries or illnessesCertification in NEBOSH or equivalent international health and safety qualificationsStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholdersA background in healthcare environments or knowledge of hospital safety is advantageous
