The RoleWe are seeking a hardworking Maintenance Specialist to support our maintenance team in ensuring our facilities are tidy and well maintained. This position is part time with minimum hours of 20 hours. Responsibilities include: General maintenance repairs which can include plumbing, painting, building, electrical, refrigeration, air-conditioning, room checks, preventative maintenance.
To receive and action all department maintenance requests in a timely mannerKeep an awareness of repairs and maintenance throughout the hotel during your day-to-day tasks Investigate reported faults and rectify/escalate to Head of Department or other HODs as required Complete tasks required to fulfil full building, systems and plant preventative maintenance schedule. Liaise with relevant contractors as directed by Head of Department To carry out periodical checks of contractor maintenance to ensure standard and professionalism is being maintained.
Support regular service of appliances and equipment Regular liaison with all departments in particular, Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure rooms are returned to full working order as quickly as possibleEnsure you follow all hotel policies and procedures including access to guest rooms/plant/machinery etc RequirementsWe are seeking a team member with a great attitude.
