Casa Cruz New York, is located in a six-story beaux arts townhouse on 61st Street, between Park and Madison Avenue. Casa Cruz New York has 220 seats across five floors and is open for dinner and drinks. For us, great hospitality starts with our professional and dedicated Hosts.Responsibilities:Welcoming and greeting guests; ensuring a seamless flow through the restaurant and to arranged dining tablesChecking-in, storing, securing, and retrieving outerwear and assorted personal belongings for guestsSpeaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and responding well to questionsUpholding service standards to ensure a memorable guest experienceDemonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learnMaintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environmentSkills & Requirements:Required to have open availability on weekendsAt least 1 year in a Host position in a upscale dining settingPersonable, positive, and gracious attitudeKnowledge of reservation systemsHas a sincere interest in the hospitality industryDemonstrate clear written and verbal communication skillsAble to work in a team environment and welcome feedbackFluent in both written and spoken EnglishCapability to stand for prolonged periods of timeLift up to 25 pounds of weightAbility to reach, bend, climb up and down stairs, walk and carry multiple objectsPlease note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
