We anticipate paying a salary between £40,000 – £52,500 DOELocation: Hybrid working based from either our Derby, Manchester, or Warrington officesAbout The RoleWe’re looking for a HR Advisor to join our growing team at Rolls-Royce SMR. As a true generalist role and ambassador for the HR function within the business, this role is a first point of contact for HR queries from People Leaders and employees and will either support themselves, or signpost to the best point of contact for advice.Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this role will deliver activities and initiatives within their business areas, and act as a true team player, supporting across the wider business as required.Their main duties include delivering high quality administrative support and thorough, practical, advice to managers, delivered with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.We'll Need You ToEmployee Relations & Advisory SupportProvide first-line advice and coaching on HR policies and ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, attendance/wellbeing, and performance management.Support end-to-end case management with professionalism and discretion.HR Operations & Process ManagementManage starters, movers, and leavers processes in Workday, ensuring accuracy and timely documentation.Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Reward, Payroll, and HCM teams to maintain governance and process integrity.Data & InsightsRun reports and interpret HR data to provide actionable insights to the business.Recommend improvements to systems and processes based on experience and findings.Engagement & DevelopmentPositively promote initiatives around colleague engagement, ED&I, and wellbeing.Deliver workshops and induction sessions on HR topics to employees and People Leaders.Stakeholder CollaborationBuild strong relationships with People Leaders and Trade Union representatives.Engage with third-party providers such as Occupational Health to ensure services meet SLAs.What You'll BringExperience of working in a generalist HR function.Experience of complex ER case work.CIPD Level 3 qualified or willing to work towards. Relevant, equivalent career experience will be considered.Experience of working with Workday (or an equivalent HR system e.g. SAP, Oracle).
