Contract type – Full Time, Permanent,Location – LondonBand – Band DSalary – £35,998 – £38,523Information About The RoleAs a HR Analyst in Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) you will be responsible for the reporting and visualisation of workforce data for CTPHQ and the wider CT Network. The data will be used for key corporate decisions and published reports.You will interpret data and provide narrative that will support CTP in developing our Workforce Strategy, that ensures we attract, develop and retain the workforce necessary to keep the country safe from ever-evolving threats.ResponsibilitiesGather quantitative and/or qualitative workforce information and data from a range of sources and teams across the Network to build an understanding of the current and/or required workforce composition.Ensure templates for collecting information and data are effective and processes are consistently followed by those involved in submitting workforce information and data.Maintain accurate, clean and up to date, workforce data and information. Review data returns and forecasts and resolve any data quality issues to ensure accurate reports can be published.Implementing standard algorithms for handling and processing the data.Review workforce data and information to identify trends, patterns and insights to support identification of opportunities, requirements and challenges in the short, medium and long term, at a national and local level.Present data innovatively, primarily using Microsoft Excel to produce visualisation and provide narrative.Deliver routine reports and papers to a range of senior decision makers and practitioners within the police service, strategic partners, government, and necessary external bodies.Respond to a wide range of ad-hoc and ongoing, straight-forward requests for data, from a wide range of stakeholders, and work with colleagues in a team environment to support more complex or difficult requests for data and analytics.Collate and prepare information and data for meetings, presenting it with appropriate visualisation, narrative and insights.Provide support the annual workforce planning cycle working with Business Planning and Finance, providing accurate data and ensuring workforce data is accurately updated to reflect changes.Make recommendations to improve the method, format and tooling in which data is collated, analysed and presented. Support the continuous improvement of the team and drive efficiencies.Maintain links between centrally held and local data to ensure data can be reconciled.Provide data to support tracking of KPIs against Strategic Workforce Priorities.Build and maintain knowledge of Metropolitan Police HR processes, policies and landscape and an understanding of end-to-end workforce planning, the deployment processes within this.Comply with MPS policies and any legal obligations such as FOIA, GDPR and the Data Protection Act.Work collaboratively with others within your team, across the CTP HR capability, and be able to respond and undertake additional responsibilities at times of increased demand.How To ApplyApply to the role by clicking the button below.
