Job SummaryThe HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department, assisting with the daily operation of HR functions and programs. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with recruitment, and serving as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities (Job Description)Maintain accurate and confidential employee files (both digital and physical), ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant.Process paperwork for all employee life cycle changes, including new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.Assist with data entry and maintenance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).Manage employee attendance, leave requests, and vacation tracking.Assist the HR team with the hiring process, including posting job advertisements on various platforms.Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate communication with candidates.Prepare and process new hire paperwork (e.g., employment agreements, tax forms).Conduct new employee orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process.Support the payroll function by verifying employee work hours, absences, and deduction changes.Assist employees with general inquiries regarding benefits enrollment, documentation, and claims.Assist in communicating company policies and updates to the workforce.Ensure all HR practices comply with local labor laws and company regulations.Assist the HR Manager with various projects, events, and training initiatives.Required Qualifications and Skills1-2 years of experience in an administrative or Human Resources support role is a strong asset.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or payroll software is a a plus.Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), both in English and local language. High level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proactive, solution-oriented, and strong time management skills.
