A recognized services company in New York City is looking to add a new HR Data Specialist to play a key role in managing HRIS data, supporting union-related processes, and ensuring smooth employee communication. About the Opportunity:Assignment Length: 3 to 4 monthsSchedule: Monday to FridaySetting: RemoteResponsibilitiesPerform extensive HR data entry in Dayforce HRIS, ensuring accuracy and complianceManage union-related data, including payroll deductions, union dues, initiation details, and deduction confirmationsConduct data validation, reconciliation, and generate HR reportsRespond to employee and union inquiries regarding benefits via phone and email, maintaining professionalism and resolving discrepanciesDiffuse upset employees by gathering information, providing accurate answers, and correcting issues promptlyCollaborate with the HR Manager through weekly check-ins and occasional team huddles QualificationsAssociate's DegreeProficiency in HRIS systems and HR data entryFamiliarity with Union environmentsKnowledge of Benefits AdministrationExpertise in Microsoft ExcelExceptional attention to detailAbility to work independently and take initiativeDesired Skills:Experience with Dayforce HRISSkilled in employee communication and problem resolution
