Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous HR Specialist to be part of the operational backbone of our Human Resources department. This is a pivotal, hands-on role where you will manage the accurate, compliant, and efficient administration of all critical HR functions—from compensation and benefits to HRIS administration and complex leave management. (Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000)If you thrive on data integrity, optimizing HR processes, and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced healthcare environment, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities: What You'll Be DoingHRIS & Compensation AdministrationServe as the Superuser and Trainer for our HRIS (Rippling experience highly preferred), optimizing workflows and supporting system integrations (ATS, LMS, etc.).Manage personnel changes (pay, transfers, position, FTE)Conduct compensation benchmarking and assist in pay equity reviews to maintain fair and competitive practices.Generate key HR metric reports (turnover, headcount, time-to-fill) to provide actionable insights to leadership.Benefits & Leave ManagementManage comprehensive Benefits Administration, including new hire enrollments, QLEs, benefit invoice auditing, and coordinating the annual Open Enrollment process.Act as the primary employee contact for all benefits, 401(k), and EAP questions, ensuring clear and accurate information.Administer all aspects of complex Leave Management (FMLA, ADA, STD, Worker’s Comp), ensuring legal compliance and coordinating return-to-work accommodations.Manage annual 401(k) and benefits compliance audits and year-end reporting.Compliance & HR PolicyEnsure full compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, EEO) across all operational functions.Generate mandatory annual compliance reports (EEO-1, OSHA) and respond to external agency data requests.Contribute to the development and revision of HR policies and procedures, ensuring clarity, consistency, and legal adherence.Required QualificationsWhat You'll Bring to the Team5+ years of progressive HR experience with a significant focus on HR operations, payroll, benefits, and HRIS administration.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experienceDemonstrated expertise in administering and maintaining HRIS, with a strong preference for Rippling experience.Extensive experience with end-to-end payroll processing and timekeeping systems.Strong, proven knowledge of complex employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, HIPAA).Meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis.Proven ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
