Job Description

Reporting To The HSE Coordinators, This Position WillEnsure all works are executed in accordance with company and client Safety Management Plans (SMPs), policies, practices, procedures and statutory requirements.Coach and mentor personnel to develop and improve safe work cultures.Support the Assist and Assure program.Promptly respond to all reports of unsafe conditions, unsafe activities and unsafe equipment and take appropriate corrective action.Monitor the application of Safety Management systems in the field.Develop and conduct effective business relationships with key stakeholders and other internal and external organisations as required.Ensure currency of knowledge of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) standards and training packages.Coordinate HSE training courses for all project personnel.Assist with the scheduling and organising of onsite and offsite training courses, through Registered Training Organisations.Assist in the development of the HSE and Emergency Management Plans, Policies, Procedures, and monthly reporting.Ensure training compliance to policies, business systems and other relevant safety or contractual obligations.Conduct internal and external audits and compile reports as per an agreed audit schedule.Coordinate and manage relevant systems and registers.Manage incident response and conduct incident investigations
