This position ensures the seamless operation of all IT systems, focusing on cloud services, security, physical infrastructure and communications.This role combines cloud expertise with traditional infrastructure management, emphasising Microsoft technologies and a strong focus on security. The position requires a strategic thinker who can balance day-to-day operations with long-term infrastructure planning and optimisation.Launch Housing Leadership Framework At Launch Housing, we believe that leadership is not defined by position or title – but by the mindset you bring and the actions you take. This role is aligned to the Leading Others proficiency level within the framework, reflecting the responsibility to guide and support teams, foster collaboration and create a high-performing and inclusive environment that drives positive outcomes.Managerial ResponsibilityMay supervise a small team or section of their organisational unit.Maximum-term, full-time role (76 hours per fortnight) based at Collingwood from January 2026 to October 2026.What you'll be doing:Oversee and optimise Microsoft Azure-based server infrastructure. Implement best practices for Azure infrastructure management, including reliability, cost optimisation, and operational excellence. Collaborate with the IT Support Specialist to ensure efficient cloud resource utilisation. Manage on-site network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Oversee CCTV systems, end-user computing, and meeting room technology. Ensure proper maintenance and upgrades of physical IT assetsWhat we're looking for (key selection criteria): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on cloud technologies. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft security platforms. Experience with physical infrastructure management, including networking and AV systems. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent are preferred. Experience in NFP sector highly desirable. Understanding of, or a demonstrated commitment to upholding, Child Safe Standards in the workplace. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
