Job Description

Head of Influencer Marketing (Creator Program and Events)This is a newly created role with a fast-growing fashion and wellness brand that has built a serious following in Australia. They are profitable, founder-led, and scaling quickly, with a customer base that behaves more like a community than a transaction. Influencer marketing is already meaningful for them, but it has hit the point where it needs a dedicated leader to turn it into a structured, scalable growth engine. The job is heavily creator-driven. There is an existing influencer network in place, but it is not yet a full ecosystem with clear tiers, standards, and momentum. This hire will own that evolution end to end, bringing structure, commercial focus, and cultural sharpness. Events and brand activations sit alongside this. What you’ll be doing day to day:Build and lead the creator and influencer programme, turning an existing network into a structured, aspirational ecosystem.Design programme tiers, benefits, onboarding, and rules of engagement so creators know what “good” looks like and feel proud to represent the brand.Own creator recruitment, relationship management, retention, and performance, keeping the right talent engaged long term.Set the content and brand direction for creators, improving consistency, quality, and cultural relevance across all partnerships.Create and run the commercial measurement framework for influencer activity, linking it to outcomes like revenue, new customer growth, affiliate performance, and brand lift.Lead events and brand activations with creators at the centre, from concept through to talent strategy, delivery, and post-event impact review.Work closely with founders and the wider marketing team in a lean, high-ownership set-up, with scope to grow a team underneath you. What success looks like in the first year:A clearly defined creator programme with strong tiers, rewards, and a culture creators want to be part of.Existing influencers converted into a tighter ecosystem with better engagement, clearer expectations, and stronger content output.A measurable uplift in commercial performance from partnerships - with visibility of what is working, what is not, and why.Improved creator content alignment to brand direction, with better consistency and less noise.A flagship brand moment delivered that feels bold, social-led, and community-driven - something that moves the brand forward culturally and commercially.A roadmap for year two that scales the programme, budget, and team based on clear data and learning. What they’re looking for in a candidate:Proven experience building or overhauling a creator or influencer programme, not just managing individual partnerships.A background in consumer brands where creators sit at the heart of growth - fashion, wellness, fitness, beauty, lifestyle, or similar.Strong event and brand activation experience that is creator-led and community-first.Commercial confidence - you know how to measure ROI, build reporting, and make decisions off real performance data.Hands-on operator mindset. This is not a role for someone who wants a big team around them from day one.Good cultural radar and creative judgement, with a clear view on what makes content land in-market right now.Comfortable working in a founder-led, fast-moving environment where pace and ownership matter. If you want full ownership of a creator engine, enjoy building from a blank canvas, and you care as much about commercial impact as cultural cut-through, this is worth a serious look.
