This opportunity will see you engage and influence throughout all levels of the business.Reporting into two National HR Managers, and working as part of a close knit team of 8, this newly created position reflects the organisation’s determination to maintain a competitive edge through its people and HR practices. This is an opportunity to join a national HR function with your key objective being to partner effectively with various stakeholders to deliver comprehensive HR processes and support services that have practical and positive outcomes.This opportunity will suit a candidate who is happy to take a hands-on role that is generalist by nature, but then also feel comfortable working on specific projects when necessary.You can expect broad responsibilities which will include:Partnering with the firm's Partners to solve daily HR problems, policy development, performance management and sometimes recruitment.Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements and maintaining records.Champion the Early Careers Program and take the lead for future enhancements.Building strong relationships across the firm and with external suppliers.We are seeking interest from HR practitioners with:5+ years in HR and preferably from the legal sector or similar professional services firm.Exceptional communication skills, writing skills and interpersonal skills.Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution.Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems.Familiarity with HR software and MS Office.As well as a competitive salary and flexible working on offer, this opportunity will see you work closely with highly skilled National HR Managers.
