Payroll Officer

The Access Talent Service is part of The Access Group, one of the most well-known and respected suppliers of Payroll software solutions to HR and Accounting professionals throughout Australia.  We are a boutique recruitment agency specialising in the supply of Payroll staff, with a particular focus on payroll professionals who are experienced with our own software MicrOpay and Definitiv.The Access Talent Service are the go-to agency for our clients and payroll professionals looking for their next contract or permanent position.My client is needing a Payroll Officer to work with the Payroll Manager to process their payroll, end to end.Located in Eagle Farm, my client is flexible with either full time or part time (minimum 3 days per week).On a day to day basis, this role will involve:Processing weekly payroll accurately, ensuring compliance with payroll awards.Using Definitiv (no experience required, we will train you in the software)Entering new startersCompleting all processing checks and reconciliations before seeking approval to process for paymentProcessing, calculating, and managing payroll adjustments, terminations, leave reconciliations, parental leave payments, and bonus/commission paymentsResponding to employee enquiries regarding payrollMaintaining all documentation, personnel files and electronic systems with accurate dataOther various payroll related tasksTo be successful in this role, you must have:Previous payroll experienceStrong attention to detailExcellent communication skillsA good team playerAbility to manage competing deadlinesSalary: $70,000-$85,000, depending on experienceIf you would like to apply for this role, press on the apply button, or for a confidential discussion, please contact Celine Guillot on 0415 345 587.
