Location: Atlanta (Hybrid) Our corporate headquarter is located at 1117 Perimeter Center West, Atlanta, GA 30338.The Human Resource Director is responsible for leading the organization’s HR strategy and operations to support business goals and foster a positive workplace culture. This role provides strategic direction in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, compliance, and organizational development. The HR Director serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent while maintaining compliance with employment laws and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.Essential Job FunctionsDevelop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and goals.Lead and manage the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, training, compensation, and compliance.Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition efforts to attract, retain, and develop top talent.Design and administer performance management systems to support employee growth and accountability.Direct the development and delivery of training programs that enhance employee skills and support career advancement.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures.Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with organizational needs.Promote employee engagement, recognition programs, and initiatives that support a positive workplace culture.Oversee investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes with fairness and consistency.Develop and monitor HR metrics, reports, and analytics to support decision-making.Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the organization.Manage HR budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources.Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, managers, and employees on HR-related issues.Provide on-call support as required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Duties and Responsibilities Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.Partner with executive leadership to shape company culture and workforce planning.Provide guidance on organizational structure, succession planning, and talent development.Talent ManagementOversee recruitment, selection, and retention strategies.Design and implement performance management systems.Develop employee training and professional development programs.Employee RelationsPromote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.Oversee conflict resolution, employee concerns, and disciplinary actions.Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and workplace standards.Compensation & BenefitsDirect the design and administration of compensation structures and benefits programs.Monitor market trends to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.Oversee annual salary planning and incentive programs.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.Manage workplace investigations and mitigate risk.HR OperationsLead HR team and oversee daily departmental operations.Manage HR systems, metrics, and reporting.Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee records.Budget & Resource ManagementDevelop and manage HR department budget.Optimize resource allocation to support HR initiatives.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).Experience: 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or director-level role. Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning, talent management, and organizational development. Proven track record of managing employee relations, performance management, and compliance.Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices. Proficiency with HRIS systems, data analysis, and reporting.Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.Other Skills: Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
