TRC’s client located in Buckhead has an opportunity for a Payroll and Benefits Specialist!This will be part time initially: 25 hours per week. During Q1 this person should expect to start working Full time hours. Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week)Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our client’s HR team on a part-time contract basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and providing excellent support to our employees for all benefits-related inquiries. This role is perfect for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about employee support.Key Responsibilities• Process bi-weekly and weekly union payroll, ensuring accuracy of hours, earnings, and deductions.• Manage and maintain the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, status changes, and pay adjustments.• Administer all aspects of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.• Facilitate the new hire benefits enrollment process and manage annual open enrollment.• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll questions and benefits-related issues, providing clear and timely assistance.• Reconcile benefits statements and ensure accurate payroll deductions.• Collaborate with the HR team on various projects and initiatives as needed.• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
