Based in Koper, Slovenia, we specialize in manufacturing high-precision components such as pedal boxes, hinge groups, and hand brakes. With a state-of-the-art facility and an innovative approach, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality and reliability for our partners worldwide.We are looking for a team member to take on the role of Human Resources Manager at our AK Automotive factory in Slovenia. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all Human Resources processes.Location: Koper, SloveniaPosition: Human Resources ManagerGeneral QualificationsBachelor’s degree from a relevant university department (e.g., Business Administration, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Psychology, Industrial Engineering, etc.).A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in Human Resources, preferably within the manufacturing industry.Advanced command of English is mandatory; proficiency in Slovene is a strong asset.Previous international work experience.Familiarity with Slovenian labour law, payroll, personnel affairs, and work permit procedures is preferred.Must be residing in Slovenia or willing to relocate.Ability to coordinate with headquarters and ensure the implementation of company HR policies.Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Proficiency in reporting and data analysis with a data-driven approach.Strategic thinking ability to develop and implement long-term HR planning.Capable of managing performance management and recruitment processes in a structured and measurable way.Ability to identify improvement opportunities within HR processes and develop action plans to increase efficiency.Driving digitalization and ensuring technology integration across HR functions.Advanced user of MS Office applications, particularly Excel.EU citizenship is preferred.Knowledge of SAP HR modules is a strong advantage.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement workforce planning aligned with the company’s production goals and organizational structure.Manage end-to-end payroll processes in compliance with local regulations and company policies.Oversee all personnel operations such as onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and transfers, ensuring documentation accuracy and legal compliance.Monitor legal processes including tax, work permits, absenteeism, and annual leave; maintain audit-ready data and reporting systems.Implement performance management systems, organize evaluation cycles, guide managers, and report on outcomes.Conduct regular employee engagement and satisfaction surveys, analyse results, and prepare action plans for improvement.Prepare and manage the HR budget, monitor payroll and benefits expenses, and conduct variance analyses to ensure budget compliance.Lead digital transformation projects in HR, ensuring the adoption of digital tools and process automation.Oversee disciplinary processes in line with local labour laws and company policies, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.Identify learning and development needs, plan, and support the implementation of relevant training programs.Provide regular HR reports and KPIs to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making.Stay updated on international labour laws and employment regulations to ensure global compliance of HR policies.We look forward to welcoming you to our team and shaping the future together!
