Job Summary: A successful applicant is responsible for providing help desk IT support to the on-property and remote team members. They are responsible for managing all systems and implementing technological strategic solutions. They must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with Team members. Job Duties and Functions: Provide support for computer and mobile end-users. Work with various departments to ensure smooth delivery of technological resources for all property events. Research new technologies, work with Team Leadership to recommend, design and implement innovative, cost-effective technology solutions. Ensures PCI compliance for property.
Comply with property standards and local regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations that is service oriented. Maintain systems as necessary. Coordinate 3rd party vendors to include working with various vendors. Work with the Leadership Team to ensure that IT operations are aligned with business needs. Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Work may include racking and stacking network and server equipment, toning and terminating cabling, creating new user accounts, joining computers to domains, training, etc. Education and Experience: Associates college degree or equivalent experience.
Three to five years of IT employment including working on and supporting end users in a windows domain environment. 2 years as full service Hotel IT Director. Active Directory and Exchange knowledge including Windows authentication to AD, Windows file and print sharing required. Printer/peripheral device troubleshooting skills. Networking experience with TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCPExperience with wireless peripherals/devices especially mobile devices. Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook a must. Excellent communication skills with ability to read, write, and speak in English. Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Ability to multitask, efficient and well organized, and able to meet deadlines. Self-motivated and detail oriented with ability to manage technical events. Critical thinking and problem solving/troubleshooting a must. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Must be able to live and work in Cayman Islands. This position is at a location where Hyatt is not the employer. The employer of individuals working at this hotel may be a third-party management company that is responsible for all employment benefits and obligations at this location.
