Import Export Specialist

ResponsibilitiesTo develop, implement, and oversee all customs-related processes and ensure smooth clearance and compliance for the company’s growing international logistics operations. The role will also focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with customs, postal, and other regulatory authorities.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain official relationships with Egyptian Customs, Egypt Post, and other relevant government entities.Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with customs and regulatory agencies.Ensure compliance with all customs laws, import/export regulations, and company policies.Develop and optimize customs clearance processes to improve efficiency and reduce delays or penalties.Coordinate with internal departments (operations, finance, legal) and external partners to support international shipping activities.Monitor regulatory changes and update management on potential impacts.Handle any disputes or investigations related to customs or clearance procedures.Lead the setup of systems and documentation required for international shipment clearance.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of experience in customs operations, preferably with FedEx, UPS, DHL, or similar international logistics companies.Proven experience working with Egyptian Customs and government agencies.Strong network and relationships with key officials in customs or postal departments.Deep understanding of customs clearance procedures, import/export documentation, and HS codes.Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.Fluent in Arabic and English.Job Details Location : 6th of October - Giza .
