Import Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Import Customs Specialist to manage our import customs clearance operations in Europe. This role works closely with customers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and our internal teams to ensure all import processes are accurate, timely, and fully compliant.Responsibilities • Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation for import shipments • Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other partners • Handle HS classification, customs valuation, duty and VAT-related matters • Ensure all documentation complies with local customs regulations • Work with warehouse and transport teams on cargo pickup and delivery • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems • Provide customs-related support and solutions to customersRequirements • Experience in import customs clearance or international logistics • Knowledge of EU or German customs regulations is a plus • Familiar with HS codes, duties, and VAT processes • Good command of German or English • Strong attention to detail and responsibility • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
