Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities are essential. Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for VAT, excise, and customs matters.Deliver high-quality tax advice and services tailored to each client’s needs.Understand clients' business challenges and offer strategic tax solutions to enhance their business outcomes.Skills: Strong business development skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts clearly. Business Development & Revenue Targets:Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding services with existing clients, and building a strong pipeline for future business.Actively engage in developing proposals and pitching new business to prospective clients.Meet and exceed revenue targets, contributing to the firm’s financial success.Focus on AR and collection of the firm. Technical Review & Advisory:Oversee the technical review of tax compliance and advisory work, ensuring accuracy and alignment with current legislation and best practices in VAT, excise, and customs.Provide high-level technical tax advice to clients, particularly in relation to VAT, excise, and customs matters, ensuring adherence to UAE regulations and international standards.Demonstrate to manage complex tax matters and ensure compliance with legal frameworks. Proactive Marketing & Thought Leadership:Represent Andersen UAE at key industry events, including webinars, podcasts, and other marketing initiatives.Drive the development of thought leadership materials, positioning Andersen as an expert in VAT, excise, and customs matters.Promote the firm's brand by contributing to market-facing initiatives, including content creation for industry publications and social media channels.Being a part of seminars, webinars, events – actively socializing with ICAI chapter.Skills: Expertise in public speaking, podcast appearances, and leading webinars. Strong content creation and social media engagement skills. Continuous Learning & Market Insight:Stay up to date with the latest tax laws and trends, particularly in VAT, excise, and customs, to provide clients with relevant and innovative solutions.Share insights with clients and internal teams to enhance tax strategies and service delivery.A proactive approach to staying current with industry trends and changes in tax laws.Contribution to tax AI and e-invoicing – active participation in all new market developments.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 7–8 years of overall tax experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE.Strong expertise in VAT, excise, and customs advisory and compliance.Proven track record in client management, team leadership, and business development.
