Industrial Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Industrial Engineer for a Contract to hire job with a client in Carson CA, 90746 (Onsite). Ideally, we are looking for manufacturing Engineers from Aerospace/Aviation industries.Pay Range: $30-$35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Job summaryThe Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer will support Client's production operations by developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes. A key aspect of this role involves leveraging RFID technology to enhance process efficiency, track assets, and ensure the traceability of products and components throughout their lifecycle. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to integrate RFID solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.Experience:3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in the aerospace industry.Hands-on experience with RFID technology implementation in a manufacturing or logistics environment.Experience with electronic assembly, testing, and quality control.Skills:Working knowledge of electronics, assembly techniques, and electrical systems.Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Catia) is a plus.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Knowledge of ERP systems and data analysis tools.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
