The Company is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, gender, disability, or protected veteran status.The Company is a drug free workplace.The Industrial Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support and leading cost reduction projects to improve manufacturing processes.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering support for shop floor in Houston, TX.Assist with quoting on made-to-order and engineered-to-order forged steel fittings.Work on specific cost reduction projects as assigned.Develop standardized work procedures for manufacturing processes.Provide support to determine the best manufacturing methods.Assist with the purchasing of and coordinating the installation of CAPEX equipment.Assist scheduling department with recommendations to improve throughput and reduce inventory.Education/ExperienceB.S. Industrial EngineeringProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systemsJob Type: Full-time
