Adecco is currently recruiting for a IT Project Manager. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with possibility of extension or permanence. The opportunity is a hybrid role for the duration of the contract, with the central office in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a reliability level security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.The Project Manager will have the following responsibilities: Provide project management expertise for all project activities by working with stakeholders, project team members and groups across the client using proven project management best practices and methodologiesOversee the project throughout all phases by ensuring resources are adequately utilized and the project is completed and fully operational within previously agreed upon timelines, and performance parametersDevelop project plans and prioritize work to achieve project objectives, working with project resources and ensuring collaboration with other teams, as requiredOversee project risks, issues, and interdependencies while delivering defined scope and work plans within defined quality and timeframesPrepare and present proposals, plans, charts, status reports and risk logs to assist in analyzing, displaying and socializing progress, challenges, issues and problems by using a variety of project management toolsAssist team with change requests and risk mitigation plansAlign success measures to track adoption and transformation progressCoordinate the input, support and communication with all functional areas that affect requirements related to project scope, business value, risk,Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partners to ensure understanding of client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concernsCollaborate proactively with other teams to coordinate interdependencies and optimize flow for delivery and operational teamsAct as a central point of contact for all project resources and subject matter expertsFacilitate daily scrum, sprint planning retrospective meetings and backlog management to provide guidance to the delivery team to identify and prioritize deliverablesProvide regular updates on progress and value delivery to senior management and/or the sponsor/clientEnsure all project deliverables are completed including all related documentations and processesOther activities and deliverable, as requiredThe Project Manager must meet the following mandatory requirements:University degree or college diploma in information technology, project management, business analysis or a related fieldA minimum of ten (10) years of recent demonstrated experience in the field of IT infrastructure and network securityA minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Management Specialist in overseeing medium-to-large infrastructure modernization projects in a complex environmentStrong demonstrated business acumen, including the ability to identify and communicate value and translate business needs into project objectivesStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiencesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and judgments, especially in identifying and mitigating infrastructure risksDemonstrated experience leading multiple initiatives concurrently and effectively managing interdependenciesDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve objectivesExperience with Cloud Migration and Network Refresh projects would be a strong assetPMP and Scrum certifications would be considered a strong asset.
