The City of Kelowna is looking for an experienced and dynamic Infrastructure Delivery Department Manager to lead our team in delivering parks, transportation, utilities, and special projects that enhance our community.Key Responsibilities:·        Lead and Inspire: Manage a team of technically oriented staff, fostering a collaborative, respectful and fun culture.·        Project Management: Oversee the planning and resourcing of $150-$250M worth of projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and within budget.·        Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and industry representatives to improve project delivery.·        Professional Leadership: Contribute to the practice of professional engineering at the City of Kelowna and collaborate with others to innovate and improve our project delivery methods.Qualifications:·        Educational Background: Degree in Engineering (Civil preferred) or Geoscience, with professional registration in BC.·        Experience: At least 10 years of experience managing professionals in municipal infrastructure projects.·        Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.Grow your career in an organization that supports employee work-life balance and career and professional development. This exempt position offers a salary range of $166,700 to $194,500, employer-paid comprehensive benefits, an earned day-off program, paid vacation and one of Canada’s top pension plans. The City of Kelowna is committed to being an organization that values and reflects its community’s diverse population, and to fostering an equitable, inclusive and progressive work environment where everyone can be their authentic self and feels a sense of belonging. For further information or to apply, please check our website at https://careeropportunities.kelowna.ca/postings/17258Applications must be received by end of day December 5, 2025.Applicants not contacted within three weeks of the closing date are thanked for their interest
