In this role, you will work with leading FMCG brands to deliver strategic analysis, develop intuitive dashboards, and provide recommendations that drive business efficiency, profitability, and growth. You will be a Tableau and SQL expert who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.Ideally, you will have a background in analysing high-volume field-based project/services data where time, travel and tasks change daily and need to be reported on with pace. What you will do:Build and automate a broad range of required business reports for internal and external stakeholders on a daily and weekly basis using Tableau.Provide proactive and evidence-based customer insights derived from these reports, with operational efficiency and financial insights based on field force activity being key focus areas.Build dashboards and visual aids to support account teams and senior management decisions.Identify emerging issues in current processes and suggest potential solutions.Support day-to-day operational requirements of the account, including point of sale and resource allocation through collation and upload of account team/client requirements.Monitor operational performance of the account and manage communication and updates around quarterly KPI targets to ensure account team are on track to achieve results.Manage technical delivery projects through to completion.Demonstrate leadership and role model behaviour within a team of experienced analysts.Provide coaching and training to other team members with the data and insights team where applicable.Translate customer objectives and requirements into insightful analysis and reporting.Plan and communicate with key customer and account team stakeholders.Drive understanding and engagement in available tools by the customer and account teams.What you will bring:Mastery in building customised reports and dashboards in Tableau.Advanced SQL to retrieve, transform and cleanse large data sets in a modern, cloud-based data warehouse.Experience in data analysis and interpretation for resource optimisation, in-field execution statistics using real-time data, and financial analysis & ROI models.Strong data storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for key stakeholders (both internal and external).Excellent business acumen and understanding of commercial levers and KPIs.High quality communication and presentation skills with the ability to present at meetings and client workshops.Project and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work autonomously.Strong problem solving and logical reasoning skills.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including complex pivot tables, string formulas, index matching, and IF functions).Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics (desirable).Minimum of 3 years analytics experience (FMCG experience preferred but not essential).
