Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & PerformanceManage, mentor, and train a remote team of schedulers responsible for covering various shifts (e.g., 9am-6pm PST, 10am-7pm PST).Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and implement coaching strategies to ensure team members meet accuracy and efficiency targets.Manage shift coverage, approve time-off requests, and ensure adequate staffing across all operational hours.Operational Excellence & ComplianceDevelop, document, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for patient intake, visit scheduling, and EMR data maintenance.Conduct regular audits of scheduling logs and EMR records to ensure 100% compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase scheduling efficiency, optimize clinician travel routes, and reduce missed visits.Complex Coordination & EscalationServe as the primary escalation point for complex scheduling issues, difficult patient or caregiver conflicts, and staff coverage emergencies.Collaborate closely with Clinical Directors and interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care and appropriate resource allocation.Monitor daily reports, analyze scheduling metrics (e.g., visit completion rates, intake turnaround time), and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in home health or hospice administration, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.Advanced proficiency and extensive hands-on experience with scheduling and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems in a home health setting.Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a remote team effectively.Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work flexible hours to cover needs across various PST shifts (including weekend coverage on rotation as needed).BenefitsIndependent Contractor Perks: HMO coverage for eligible locationsPermanent work from homeImmediate hiringSteady freelance jobPlease note that since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection.
