We are looking for a highly motivated, mature, and creative professional who wants to be part of a collaborative team working at the top of their game on innovative and exciting projects. This position reports directly to Bruce Fox and Senior Staff.Position OverviewProvide assistance to all design staff and administrative staff as needed.Position ResponsibilitiesDesign Project Management and Support: Assist designers with all aspects of design and project management as needed. Conduct online and follow-up research for new vendor sourcing for project designs. Shop fabrics, wall coverings, lighting, furniture, tile and stone, appliances, plumbing fixtures, carpet, rugs, accessories, etc. for multiple simultaneous design projects. Assist designers with client inventories, site measuring/photography and installations. Create and maintain client binders, project schedules and tracking grids. Assist designers with quote requests, order questions and follow-up, creation of purchase orders and proposals. Assist with the preparation of client presentation materials. Take accurate detailed meeting notes as needed.Administrative Support Assist with phones. Execute design project and office management related pick-ups, deliveries and other errands as needed. Assist with marketing and PR tasks, whenever applicable Assist with general office functions as neededJob RequirementsBachelor’s degree in design or current enrollment in design school. Flexibility and strong organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Reliable and energetic, with the ability to see what needs to be done in the moment and take initiative to address immediate concerns. Skilled in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Word and Excel. Ability to learn through action and asking relevant questions. Excellent communication skills.
