You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering innovative solutions that enhance the safety of our customers’ operations in the field of fire alarm technology. You will engage in cutting-edge research and development projects that drive innovation and technological advancements. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and scientists, contributing to the development of new products and solutions that address real-world challenges.This role is fully onsite and is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of firmware for innovative systems in the field of fire alarm technologyIntroduction and integration of AI-powered firmware development methodsCo-design of intelligent sensor technology with machine learningImplementation of new technologies for precise and fast fire detectionCollaboration with interdisciplinary teams of hardware, software and AIKey Skills & QualificationsRecent Graduate of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, software or hardware engineering.Sound knowledge of the programming languages C, C++ and PythonRequired Languages: English C1-C2- German B2Experience in the field of embedded systems and ideally with AI frameworksAnalytical thinking, innovative spirit and team spiritOur Offer12-month Full time contract position, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on performanceA culture that fosters inclusion, diversity, and innovation.Market-specific training and continuous personal development.Clear pathways for advancement, regular feedback, and mentorship opportunitiesWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
