Internet Governance, Policy Research & Stakeholder Engagement InternshipICANN Internships Opportunities | Brussels, BelgiumDuration: 6 monthsMonthly Allowance ProvidedICANN is offering exciting internships for Bachelor’s or Master’s students in two tracks:Global Stakeholder Engagement (GSE) – EuropeSupport ICANN’s outreach to European stakeholders, including Internet sector organizations, business associations, and regional events.Gain hands-on experience in policy research, stakeholder engagement, and high-impact outreach initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Research and map potential stakeholders.Support outreach campaigns and policy positions.Assist with event planning, logistics, and presentations.Conduct ad hoc research on policy and technical topics.UNESCO Collaboration – Universal Acceptance (UA)Contribute to ICANN–UNESCO initiatives promoting Universal Acceptance of all domain names and emails, including local languages.Engage in policy research, drafting, outreach, and capacity-building initiatives for a multilingual Internet.Key Responsibilities:Support research and policy brief development on UA.Assist with organizing sessions and outreach to UNESCO Member States.Promote Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) and multilingualism online.Help coordinate global initiatives and build stakeholder partnerships.Requirements:Enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Political Science, Digital Policy, International Relations, Communications, Internet Governance, or related).Strong communication, research, and organizational skills.Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.Interest in Internet governance, digital inclusion, and/or multilingualism online.How to Apply:Submit your CV, motivation letter, availability, and preferred start date via the ICANN website.Additional information for each internship is available on the ICANN website.
