During this internship, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support key initiatives in regulatory and scientific mapping. Your main responsibilities includeRegulatory and scientific mapping of ingredientsScientific Literature Review Conduct a comprehensive review of some ingredients to assess their health impacts and nutritional relevance. Regulatory Mapping Analyze and compare the regulatory frameworks and labeling requirements for ingredients across key global markets. Portfolio mapping Assess Danone’s product portfolio for gaps and opportunities. Development of internal nutrition assessment toolDefine and integrate new criteria in the internal nutrition assessment tool. Define and integrate value added features related to nutrient profiling in the nutritional assessment tool. About youYou are a highly motivated and proactive Master student with a passion for nutrition and public health, and you have a keen interest in the application of nutrition to consumer products. You have relevant educational experience in life sciences (such as nutrition, biology, dietetics, pharmacology, or public health) and are comfortable handling large databases in tools like Excel (including dynamic tables and graphs), performing literature reviews from scientific studies, and deriving facts from your research. You have an affinity for tools like Power BI. You possess strong analytical and research skills, thrive in a team setting, and are also willing and able to work autonomously when necessary. Additionally, you are a strong communicator, able to clearly convey scientific information to a broader public.Mandatory requirementsEnrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period;You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);Ideally available to start in February/March for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;You are fluent in English- spoken and written; Dutch and French are considered as a plus;You are able to work from our Utrecht office, at least 1-2 days per week.
