Job Description

Our client, a leader in their industry, is seeking an Inventory Administrative to join their Ottawa, ON office. This role supports day-to-day operations by ensuring all incoming and outgoing materials are accurately tracked, documented and coordinated between the office and nearby warehouse. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, who enjoys working in a structured, team-oriented environment. This will be a 6-month contract with potential for an extension. Benefits & PerksCompensation: $20–$21/hour.Mileage reimbursement: $0.77/km for travel to the nearby warehouse (approximately 16 km round trip, typically once per week).Work setup: 100% in-office at the Ottawa location.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM.6-month contract with potential for an extension or to go permanent. ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and process incoming shipments and parts.Prepare and organize outgoing shipments accurately and on time.Maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts, audits, and system updates.Assist with returns, exchanges, and restocking of parts and materials.Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and support process improvements.Keep backroom and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.Visit the nearby warehouse (approximately once per week) to verify deliveries, inventory, and documentation.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment.
