Job Description

Role SummaryPlan and manage allocated inventory and demand processes to ensure that customer service targets are met at a minimum operating cost, with optimum stock levels. Establish robust demand forecasts by using relevant statistical tools and market and sales information, such as planned sales orders, customer contracts, intercompany standing orders, promotional activity, seasonality, brand changes, etc. Cooperate with personnel (sales, marketing, customer service) to deliver accurate, demand-driven forecast plans. Conduct analysis of sales forecasts, together with marketing and finance insight; report on forecast accuracy; and coordinate updates by managing demand changes from key areas within the targeted businessResponisibilities Inventory Control:Carry out a range of inventory-control management activities using existing procedures.Forecasting and Demand Planning:Conduct routine forecasting and demand planning tasks, including basic trend analysis from past and present sales data, as well as inventory planning.Customer Issue IdentificationIdentify the Parts sales team issue and needs in complex situations, and decide how best to proceed with the inquiry in accordance with processes, so that the customer/service user gets the relevant support and their issue is resolved appropriately.Internal Client Relationship ManagementBuild effective working relationships within the internal client organization and contribute to the management of the partnering relationship, delivering high-quality professional services within established routines or as part of an agreed project.Handling Inquiries and CorrespondenceMaking a broad range of inquiries by email or mail or other means with any requests for information, directing more complex matters to colleagues as necessary. Initiate contact internally and externally on a regular basis to convey requests, provide instructions, or obtain information on behalf of a senior colleague.Insights and ReportingPrepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports.InventoryPerform routine inventory-control tasks and checks on quantities, quality, and availability against records, following established inventory-control procedures.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeMinimum Experience:Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory planning.Job-Specific Skills:Excellent interpersonal communication skillsExcellent command of English LanguageProblem-solving skillsNegotiation skills
