Job DescriptionPrimary functions and essential responsibilitiesWork directly with senior investment professionals on new and existing dealsInteract with investee companies and other industry participants to manage investment positions and gather industry insightsResearch, compile industry data and understand industry trends and competitive dynamicsCollect company level operational and financial dataAnalyze financial statementsBuild and update detailed financial models for companiesPerform valuation using different methodologiesIdentify potential investment risks and consider potential mitigantsDistill the insights of analysis and present investment recommendationsPrepare Investment Committee (IC) memorandumsParticipate in meetings with investee companies and with the in-house investment committeeHandle other ad-hoc projectsQualificationsEducation: 1 – 3yrs of work experience working in consulting firms, investment banking or funds (private credit, special situations, private equity)MBA / PGDM degree from reputed institutions like IIM A/B/C or ISB or US B-Schools.Skills And Abilities RequiredPassion for investing and valuationSelf-motivated, enjoy challenges and willing to continually learnStrong analytical skills and proficiency with numbersAdvanced MS Excel and financial modelling skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.Excellent editorial and review skillsInitiative and entrepreneurial spiritAbility to explain facts and findings in a clear and succinct manner (both verbally and in writing)Possess multi-tasking skills and ability to work well under pressureStrong team playerReporting RelationshipsThere is no set deadline to apply for this job opportunity.
