Job Description

Bulls N’ Bears is seeking an experienced Mining Writer with a background in either journalism, geology, stock broking or public/investor relations.You will have exceptional grammatical skills and ideally a solid understanding of small-capped ASX listed companies. Any experience in geology and exploration writing would be an added bonus.You will be part of a team of polished analysts and journalists that live and breathe the ASX small-capped company space. The daily articles you write about ASX listed companies will see your work published online across some of the largest and most prestigious newspapers in Australia including The West Australian Newspaper, The Business News Newspaper, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age in Melbourne and The Brisbane Times.You will also be responsible for researching and preparing for radio interviews with ASX-listed company CEO's for airing on 6PR in Perth, 3AW in Melbourne, 2GB in Sydney and 4BC in Brisbane.Bulls N Bears is about to enter a new era with the launch of its ASX listed CEO video interview series in our own studio and the successful applicant will also be involved in researching listed companies who are to be interviewed.Bulls N’ Bears sits at the epicentre of the ASX-listed small-capped company space in Australia and the successful applicant must therefore be able to converse and interact as a peer with public company CEO’s.Bulls N’ Bears is the most prolific publisher of small to mid-capped ASX-listed public company news in Australia and whilst we mostly cover mining and exploration news, we also cover listed companies that operate in other sectors including health tech, agriculture, technology, biotechnology etc.To be successful, you will have exceptional 'cut through' writing skills and a unique turn of phrase.This is a full-time, Perth-based role working out of the Bulls N Bears offices at The West Australian Newspaper/Channel 7 complex in Osborne Park Perth.
