IT Architect (Enterprise) – Strategic Technology Advisor

For a client, emagine is seeking an experienced IT Architect with enterprise-level expertise to provide strategic guidance on technology selection, system design, and optimization of the overall IT landscape. The goal is to assess whether current systems are utilized to their full potential and to identify opportunities for optimization, consolidation, or transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess the current IT systems landscape across business functions, including ERP, CRM, WMS, PIM, e-commerce, integration layers, and other core applications.Identify redundancies, inefficiencies, and underutilized capabilities within the system portfolio.Evaluate system performance and alignment with business needs, operational requirements, and strategic objectives.Benchmark current architecture and technology choices against industry best practices.Provide clear, actionable recommendations for system optimization, enhancement, or replacement where appropriate.Collaborate with key stakeholders across IT, business units, and leadership to capture challenges and identify improvement opportunities.Support the creation of a future-oriented roadmap for systems alignment, scalability, and digital transformation.Deliver a comprehensive assessment report and present key findings and proposals to the executive team.QualificationsProven experience advising large organizations on enterprise IT architecture and system optimization.Deep understanding of core enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, WMS, PIM, and integration technologies.Strong analytical and mapping skills, with the ability to connect system capabilities to business processes.Demonstrated experience with digital transformation and change management initiatives.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Independent, objective, and strategic mindset.Preferred ExperienceExperience within wholesale, distribution, or retail sectors.Familiarity with technology ecosystem (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Inriver) is a strong advantage.Language RequirementsProfessional proficiency in Danish and EnglishStart date: ASAPDuration: 4-6 monthsWorkload: FulltimeLocation: Greater Copenhagen AreaOnsite/remote: 3-4 days onsite pr week
