JOB SUMMARYWe are looking for a skilled IT Field Services Engineer to join our team in Larnaca. This role is for both Larnaca and Pafos airports and will report to Country CFO. The role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, providing essential support to end-users, and helping to drive technological advancements across our stations. Without a reliable IT support system, we could face disruptions that impact our customers, employees, and overall service delivery.Here’s what you’ll be doingYou’ll be responsible for ensuring that the IT infrastructure at Larnaca and Pafos Station operates smoothly, providing essential on-site support to all users. This is not just a reactive role – you’ll be part of proactive initiatives to improve IT systems, resolve complex issues, and support new technology rollouts.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESEnd-User Support & Assistance:Provide direct support to end-users, assisting them with IT issues, troubleshooting problems, and offering guidance on how to use technology effectively. Respond to incoming calls, emails, and requests regarding hardware, software, peripherals, network, and security problems.Break and Fix Support:Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair for IT equipment (hardware and peripherals), ensuring that all equipment is up and running promptly.IT Systems Management:Oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrades, and support of all current IT systems, including operating systems, telecommunications, software applications, and hardware peripherals.Network and Application Access:Provide users with network and application access, ensuring proper configuration and permissions are in place.Helpdesk & Assistance:Provide helpdesk support to both internal and external users, as well as partners, ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.Asset & Inventory Management:Maintain detailed inventories of all IT equipment and peripherals, updating them regularly to ensure accuracy.Security & Monitoring:Monitor the security of all technology systems and advise staff of any security breaches, password changes, or updates to security status. Regularly monitor private connections, devices, and peripherals to ensure safe and secure operation.Collaboration with Management:Work closely with management teams at the stations to identify their IT needs, providing recommendations on how technology can drive business improvements.Budgeting & Finance Support:Support local finance administration by assisting in the budgeting process, system checks, data entry, and reconciliations in coordination with the Finance team. Help with invoicing processes and ensure proper tracking of IT expenditures.QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIESYou have a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.You have 3-5 years of experience providing technical support in a similar IT environment, preferably within a dynamic, multi-cultural organization.You are familiar with IT security best practices and can identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.You have experience with asset management tools and software deployment strategies.You have a deep understanding of IT hardware and software, including troubleshooting and maintaining desktops, laptops, and peripherals.You have excellent problem-solving skills and can diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.You communicate clearly and professionally with users at all levels, providing excellent customer service even under pressure.Fluency in Greek & English (Speaking & Writing).It would be nice ifYou have experience working in the aviation industry.You have experience working with global ICT service partners in an international setting.Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately unable to respond personally to every candidate.
