Department: ITLocation: DublinDescriptionBDO Ireland are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our growing team, providing exceptional technical support both onsite and remotely. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering professional and friendly assistance to end-users while effectively managing and resolving IT incidents. This role requires a meticulous approach to logging, analysing, and prioritizing issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation when necessary.If you have a strong background in laptop support, application installations, Active Directory tasks, and Office 365 administration, along with a knack for providing top-notch user support across various platforms and devices, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding IT support in a professional and friendly manner both onsite and remotely.Accurately log, analyse, prioritise, and solve (or escalate if required) I.T. incidents, always ensuring that the ticket is updated on the IT Helpdesk ticketing system.Assist end users in the resolution of incidents using both remote-control tools and desk-side support.Hardware support & maintenance (e.g. Reimaging of computers)Software installations & supportActive Directory TaskOffice 365 Setup & AdministrationGeneral user support for office applications, O365, Windows 10, iPhone / iPad, and Corporate Mobile device/Smart Phone Support.Support and management of multi-function devices.Provide IT Support for in house meetings & events with audio visual equipment.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseMinimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate on various levels with peers, customers, and external parties.A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.Experience in supporting Windows 10 & 11 in a corporate environment.Strong desire to learn and improve skills and knowledge.Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with remote-control tools and desk-side support techniques.Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent team player with a team-oriented mindset.BenefitsGenerous annual leave, with flexibility to purchase additional days.Coverage of relevant professional subscriptions.Access to a contributory pension scheme.Health and wellbeing services.Career development opportunities.Flexible remote working options.Family-friendly leave policies.Complimentary coffee and onsite gym.Modern office in a central Dublin location.
